My Daughter, exquisite writer that she is, expresses why places, like people, must be wooed, discovered, explored, experienced, before they can be known. This is why local ministry in real neighborhoods is the future of the church. It’s why I walk with my neighbors each morning. It’s why I’ve never considered, for two seconds, offers for big shot ministry opportunities that would have required me to move away. It’s why church must become more than sermons… it must become the incarnation of Christ in place. Enjoy!
